This September, we proudly celebrated Link HR’s 9th anniversary. What started as a vision to support businesses navigating complex HR landscapes has grown into a trusted partner for organizations across various industries. This year, we introduced several new services to better support our clients:

New Worker Protections with Bill 190:
- Sick Leave Documentation: Employers can’t mandate a medical note for the three annual sick days under the ESA, but reasonable documentation is permitted. Remote Work Health and Safety: The OHSA now includes remote work environments, requiring employers to consider home office safety.
- Virtual Committee Meetings: Joint health and safety committee meetings can now be conducted remotely, offering greater flexibility.
- Virtual Harassment Included: The definition of workplace harassment now covers incidents that occur via digital communication.
- Electronic Posting of Safety Info: Employers may post mandatory health and safety information online as long as it’s accessible to workers.
